The breakfast options were good with a variety of cereals and fruits available; the location was convenient and offered a lovely view of the street; it was a great way to wrap up our weekend.

I absolutely loved my stay at Glendale Guest House. The room was functional and well-sized, with great heating. The presence of an electric kettle and glassware was a huge plus. The service was efficient and the breakfast was very good. The location was magnificent, being so close to the town centre and other shops like B & Q and Aldi, as well as being conveniently positioned for exploring Bowness-on-Windermere. I also enjoyed visiting the ruined medieval castle, just a short 10-15 minutes' walk from the property.

We were in recently renovated double room. The hotel had an ideal location to Penrith & surrounding area.

Nothing too much trouble, the venue met the purpose, would recomand it. The central location and polite staff were the highlight of this fine stay. The service was excellent. I could park the car outside.

We had a very good stay overall. The location in Penrith was magnificent, just next door to pubs and restaurants as well as lakes. Loved our stay, and would recommend the hotel.

This place is tidy and has a peaceful vibe. The rooms are beautifully decorated and come with nice toiletries and towels. They are well-equipped, so you have everything you need. The free parking is located nearby, which is super convenient. The service here is top-notch 👍.

The hotel's location was very convenient for exploring the Penrith area and getting to the city center, as well as nearby attractions like Bowness-on-Windermere and the rail stations, even during snowy weather.

The room was extremely pleasant and brand-new. Everything was very comfortable. The hotel was right by other shops, rail stations, and bus stations and the town center. There was a good bar on-site. We thoroughly enjoyed this place.
